ITServ conducts maintenance
ITServ will conduct a needed software upgrade on one of its main network pieces of equipment from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, 28 August 2006. This upgrade will address problems encountered with multicast video streams at AIT. During that period, no network access at all will be provided to all academic buildings. This will also affect accessing some services from housing facilities and from outside AIT.
Furthermore, AIT’s Internet service provider has said the institute’s connection will be interrupted between 2 and 3 a.m. 26 August for a maintenance operation. This will affect most of Internet connections from academic buildings but will not affect connections from housing facilities.
