· Charoen Pokphand Group, Asia’s leading conglomerate with businesses and affiliates operating within the  agribusiness, retail and telecommunications industries. What are they looking for? Graduates with electrical, environment, mechanical, industrial and safety engineering and business management backgrounds having good business perspective and problem-solving capabilities. Focus countries: Thailand, China and Vietnam.

· Michelin (Thailand), one of the biggest tyre manufacturers worldwide is eyeing AIT graduates and interns to establish its R&D hub in Asia. Plans to set-up factories in India are also on the way. Right now – they are looking for people skilled in logistics, supply chain, and industrial & engineering & management.

· Showa Denko K.K. (Japan), manufacturer of wet building materials, piping, machinery and hard-disk parts, is  looking for graduates with backgrounds in Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering and Machinery Controls, Industrial Engineering, Microelectronics, and Management.

· Halcrow (Thailand) Ltd., operating businesses related to engineering infrastructure, environment and rural development consultancy, is in need of professionals with training in Architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and geotechnical engineering.

· ADB GMS-EOC, Asian Development Bank’s Greater Mekong Subregion Environment Operations Center is actively looking for graduates or students from the GMS countries (Cambodia, People’s Republic of China, Lao People’s  Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam) to join the center for a 3- to 6-month internship (maximum of 12 months). The internship will provide an opportunity for trainees to work in various focal areas, e.g., biodiversity, environment, outreach, and cross-sectoral environment linkages with tourism, energy, transport, etc., and/or build skill-sets in environmental impact assessments/strategic environmental assessments, socioeconomic assessments and benchmarking, and environmental policy.
