Several sessions will address crucial issues related to the successful development of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in the Mekong region. One main session will be on bio-fuels production and its use. Another key session will address the importance of Public Private Partnership in supporting renewable energy. Examples of best practice in these fields will be presented by not only international experts based in the region, but also by local project developers and by Nordic companies.
Participants will include leaders from government, NGOs and private sectors (project developers, equipment suppliers, financiers and others) dealing with energy and environment issues. The EEP Mekong Regional Forum is an excellent platform for energy and environment stakeholders to consolidate their network, build partnerships and obtain up-to-date information the latest development in the fields of sustainable energy and environment.
