A lecture titled “Reflections on COP15” by Dr. Rajendra Kumar Pachauri, Chair of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will be telecast live via video conference at the Milton E. Bender Jr. Auditorium at AIT. The lecture will be delivered at 11.00 am on 8 January 2010. All interested are welcome to attend the lecture.
Dr. Pachauri has been the chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) since 2002. He is also director general of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), a research and policy organization, and Chancellor of TERI University in India. TERI University is a participating member in the Asia Pacific Initiative. He is an industrial engineer by training, with a PhD in Economics.
Dr. Pachauri will have a lecture via video conference system from India.
