03 Oct 2011
AIT
United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and the Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RRC.AP) have partnered with the Government of the United Kingdom to establish an On-line E-learning Facility. This Facility will provide capacity building in Green Growth economic policies for policy makers and government officials in Asia and the Pacific.

The On-line E-learning Facility will be expanded in 2012 and 2013 to provide further knowledge and learning opportunities on various low carbon green growth tracks, policies, and case studies. It will also cover more practical skills on issues, such as liveable cities, payment for environmental services, eco-efficiency indicators, sustainable water resources management, waste for energy, pro-poor green business, and many others areas.

The first Green Growth on-line e-learning course will be launched on 3 October 2011 and will last for six weeks.
