DEC and SOI conducts series of
real-time lectures

The Distributed Education Center (AIT) with the School of Internet (SOI) of
the WIDE (Widely Integrated Distributed Environment) project in Japan will
conduct a series of real-time lectures on the following topics:

DEC will broadcast the lectures from Japan using Uni-Directional Link (UDL)
satellite internet. Real-time question and answering will be provided.
They will be using their newly installed C-band satellite link using JCSAT-3
behind CSIM building.

Though it is expected that you can view the class from anywhere on the
campus network, interested students should apply at DEC to join their mailing
list for further announcements. Please write to [email protected] with subject heading SOI and provide your brief background. CSIM and TC students are encouraged to join the experiment.
