Abstract: The talk will introduce the suite of metrics for Object Oriented Programming. Metrics are developed using cognitive weight based on cognitive informatics. The proposed metrics covers majority of the important features (e.g. inheritance, coupling, class and methods) of Object Oriented Programming. The metric suite is demonstrated with a case study.
About Prof Sanjay Misra: Prof. Sanjay Misra obtained Master’s in Technology (M.Tech.) in Software Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad India and D.Phil. from University of Allahabad, India. Presently, he is serving as Professor of Computer Engineering in Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. He also served as Head of Department of Computer Engineering from Feb (2010) to October (2011) and head of Cyber Security department from Oct 2011- September 2012 in Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria. He has previously held academic positions at Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria; Atilim University, Turkey; Subharati University, and UP Technical University India. He is also adjunct/Visiting Professor in University of Alcala, Spain; UCV, Valparaiso, Chile; UNICEN, Tandil, Argentina; and Atilim University Turkey.
