The Yunus Center at AIT and the AIT Language Center will present “Social Business 111: The Art of Effective Business Communication” on 4 June 2013 from 0900-1500 at Room 22B, Language Center, AIT.
Learn the ins & outs of effective business communication from Dr Shahid Abrar-ul-Hassan, English Faculty and Writing Consultant at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
-Examine the approaches to communication in social business settings
-Grasp the skills and strategies for effective written business communication
-Design business messages in response to the demands of the business world
-Apply linguistic tools for effective communication and to avoid miscommunication
The workshop will be offered free of charge to AIT students, staff and faculty with a cap at 30 participants. Certificates will be awarded to those who attend the whole day.
