Visiting AIT a day prior to the formal launch of their Thailand office
in Bangkok, EJEC president, Mr. Yuji Kotani, reiterated the company’s

can look towards strengthening their relationship, particularly since
EJEC is now formally opening its office in Thailand .

Prof. Pennung Warnitchai of AIT’s School of Engineering and Technology
(SET) proposed that EJEC and AIT could jointly organize a one-day
seminar where both organizations could showcase their expertise. The

tsunami, risk assessment, disaster management, infrastructure design,
waste management and renewable energy as their areas of interest.

Dr. Gabrielle Groves, Head, External Relations and Communications
Office (ERCO), AIT, mentioned that the partnership between AIT and
Government of Japan goes back five decades. One hundred and thirty
faculty from Japan have served AIT as seconded faculty, and so far 900
AIT students have been supported by Japan.
