Introduction: Lessons learnt does not always mean mistakes.

1. Scheduling is essential: the key is to forecast how, when and who

2. Contingency plan to be worked in advance

3. Contractors and clients have to communicate between themselves

4. Safety has to be organized upfront

5. Offshore commissioning has to be limited but has to be prepared well in advance

6. What if? Too much weight for the lifting crane, bad weather, logistics are essential too

7. Conclusion: be prepared for the worst
