The intERLab at Asian Institute of Technology is a regional center for Internet Human Resources Development, having a great potential in training and educating people from Asia Pacific region in ICT. It is organized as a laboratory concentrating on research in three main directions: Internet technology/engineering, e-learning and social/policy/business/legal aspects.

APNIC is one of five Regional Internet Registries currently operating in the world. It provides allocation and registration services which support the operation of the Internet globally. It is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization whose members include Internet Service Providers, National Internet Registries, and similar organizations. APNIC represents the Asia Pacific region, comprising 56 economies. APNIC Training Department’s mission that is to educate the APNIC Internet community, mainly its members and any interested non-members on the effective management of Internet resources. The APNIC challenges are to deliver a better understanding of effective Internet resource management to a wider targeted area within the APNIC community, and to deliver effective IP related training that is current, relevant and meets member needs.
