08 Feb 2012
AIT

The code, which is a combination of black or colored modules arranged
in a square pattern on a white background, can be scanned by a range of
devices including smart phones and tablets.

Unveiling the QR codes, the AIT President Prof. Said Irandoust
remarked that AIT is known for technology and innovation, and this is
yet another move which attests that AIT is always in tune with the
latest developments. “QR codes will help AIT in reaching out to
upwardly mobile young audiences, and it can be a good marketing,
advertising and promotion tool,” he remarked.

QR codes can be used by mobile-phone users and hand-held devices to
add a vCard contact to their device, open a Uniform Resource Identifier
(URI), or compose an e-mail or text message after scanning QR codes.

Details regarding the AIT QR codes can be accessed at this link. The entire range of QR codes
for AIT, including its three Schools, are now available in a zipped format.
