Infrastructure Office announces biggest energy consumers

The Infrastructure Office identified AIT’s top 10 energy consumers for the months of January and February 2006. Data shows that in January, the School of Environment, Resources and Development ranked first with a total consumption of 422,486 baht.

In February, the School of Engineering and Technology incurred the highest expenditure of more than half a million baht.

Other big spenders on the top 10 watch list are as follows: Library, Admin Building, AIT Conference Center, School of Management, AIT Extension, AIT Community School, Internet Education and Research Laboratory (intERLab) and the Student Union and Korea House.

In order to raise the awareness of AITians on energy conservation, the Infrastructure Office will be publishing the top 10 energy consumers every month on its Web site. It will also include information about water consumption when data becomes available. Please go to: http://www.community.ait.ac.th/
