SERD alumna lauded as one of 25 Stars of Asia

SERD alumna, Mrs. Rose Niu (a.k.a. Huongwei Niu, NRP928379, 1994) (left), was selected as one of 25 Stars of Asia special report by Business Week (Asia Edition), June 2003 issue.

In this sixth annual special report, achievements of group of policymakers, entrepreneurs, managers, financiers, and opinion shapers were published. Called as BusinessWeek’s Stars, Mrs. Rose Niu was one among them.

Mrs. Niu, 41, stressed and fought for environmental protection in remote China.
She now works as China Program Director of the Nature Conservancy, People’s Republic of China and is a leader of a growing group of pioneers who are working to protect China’s over-stressed environment
