Strengthening Asian-German Relations

Under the theme ‘Strengthening Asian-German Relations’, the GTZ-AIT Cooperation Team will hold its second gathering on Friday, 31 March, from 17.00 – 20.00 hrs. in the SOM Building area. It will follow the pilot event of a luncheon hosted in December last year for AIT students and AIT graduates with German Scholarships. Joining the event on Friday are SOM and EMBA students, current recipients of German scholarships at AIT (DAAD, esp, KAAD, SIEMENS, KAF), and AIT-based alumni who were on German scholarships and all EU-AIT-PTS students.

The end-of-term get-together is being organized by the GTZ-AIT Cooperation Team headed by Prof. Karl E. Weber, GTZ Principal Adviser & Team Leader. It will serve as a communications platform and allow senior business executives in the Greater Bangkok Region, Rotary Club Members, experts of GTZ and other German organizations and their representatives as well as AIT faculty members, to exchange their views and learn more about AIT’s new electronic commerce projects. The event will feature 5-minute presentations at half-hour intervals of the following projects: Rotary Club Auction Website, Outline of EMBA Program, the Asian Case Study Clearing House and the Rotary Club On-line Shop. Selected research studies completed by SOM students graduating this April will be exhibited in the foyer of the SOM building.
