‘FACTORY OF THE FUTURE’
Mr. Brent L. Bargmann, Vice President, RHG Engineering, Seagate Technology
(Thailand) Ltd. will deliver a seminar entitled FACTORY OF THE FUTURE, on
Thursday 6 July 2000, at 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., in Room IE-115, the Chalerm
Prakiat Building.

The scope of the talk covers the factory and manufacturing in the future. It gives insight into the new business model
being employed by global companies.

Mr. Bargmann has over 13 years of global industrial experience with Seagate/Imprimis Technology in US,
Malaysia and Thailand out of which 9 years attribute for his stay in Thailand. At present he is Vice President of Operations for Seagate
Technology/Imprimis Technology and is responsible for overall operational management.

Prior to this present position, he has also served as Vice President of Engineering, Executive Director of Operations, Director of
Quality Assurance and Director of Failure Analysis and Principal Engineer. He has a very rich and unique combination of technological management and
business strategy. He holds his Electrical Engineering degree from South Dakota State University. He is member IEEE and National Society of
Professional Engineers.

All ISE students are required to attend. Interested persons are also most welcome to attend.
