Training Program on Cleaner Production Technologies

The Asian Society for Environmental Protection (ASEP), the Carl Duisberg
Gesellscchaft e.V. (CDG) and the Fraunhofer Institute of Factory Operation
and Automation (FhG-IFF) announces their joint training program on Cleaner
Production Technologies
commencing 1 October 2000 at the University of
Magdeburg, Federal Republic of Germany.

The 8-10 weeks program aims to deliver a well balanced training in the
field of cleaner production covering today’s environmental issues, such as
treatment/recycling technologies for waste and wastewater, tools for an
effective EMS (EPI, Eco-balance), new developments and technologies
(potentials of GIS), etc.

Basic requirements for the training are as follows: Bachelor of
Science/Engineering, English communication skills (TOEFL proficiency at
least 500 scores), basic computer skills and not over 35 years of age.

Please note that accommodation and training will be funded by CDG. Travel
expenses to the Federal Republic of Germany will have to be borne by the
participants.
