Thai Prime Minister presents Dean Chongrak the 2000 Research Publication Award
H.E. Mr. Chuan Leekpai, the Thai Prime Minister, presented the 2000 Research Publication Award (Engineering) to Prof. Chongrak Polprasert, Dean of the School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), at a ceremony held at the Government House on 9 August.
In selecting Prof. Chongrak for the award, the Thailand Research Research Fund (TRF) took note of his outstanding research studies which have been cited 261 times in over 50 international journals. The number of citations has been verified through the ISI Company’s Web of Science Database, USA.
Other recipients of the 2000 Research Publication Award are Prof. Dr. Virulh Sa-yakanit (Physics) and Prof. Dr. Pasuk Phongpaichit (Social Science and Humanities) of Chulalongkorn University.
