Byambarenchin Bayart-Od
opens art exhibition

An exhibition of paintings in metal, silk and leather by Mongolian artist Byambarenchin Bayart-Od is currently being held at the AIT Center, under the joint sponsorship of AIT and the Embassy of Mongolia. It will remain on view until 18 September.

Bayart-Od makes use of innovative techniques to create a distinctively dynamic style in his rendition of traditional nomadic life in Mongolia and a historical culture that is now rarely seen in present-day life. Bayart-Od has exhibited internationally, including shows in Japan, France, Germany, as well as in Mongolia where he has held several one-man exhibitions.

Dr. Thanat Khoman, Chairman Emeritus of the AIT Board of Trustees, opened the exhibition. He is seen viewing Bayart-Od’s work together with Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, AIT President.
