AITAA DOCTORAL CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION PROGRAM

With support from this year’s AITAA Doctoral Conference Participation Program, Mr. Keattisak Sripimanwat, a Doctoral degree candidate in Telecommunications, participated in the ‘IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference Fall 2000 (VTC2000)’, held at the World Trade Center, Boston, USA, on 24-28 September. Mr. Keattisak is an advisee of Dr. Kazi Ahmed. His presentation entitled, ‘New TCM Codes for AWGN and ISI Channel by Matched-Symbol Mapping Method’, was which was co-authored with Dr. R.M.A.P. Rajatheva and Dr. Kazi Ahmed.

The AITAA Doctoral Conference Participation Program provides fellowships to Doctoral students, who have passed the advancement to candidacy examination, to attend and present papers at international recognized conferences. The Program helps to promote interest in the sharing of knowledge and experience and to project AIT’s image in research.
