VISITING AIT
On 30 November – 4 December, a JICA mission composed of Prof. Mari Osawa (second from left) of the Institute of Social Science, University of Tokyo, Japan, and Mrs. Harumi Okawa (left), Deputy Director, Global Issues Division, Planning and Evaluation Department, JICA, Japan, visited AIT to study the situation on Gender Mainstreaming at the Institute, in connection with JICA’s cooperation programs in the field of gender and higher education. They are seen with AIT President, Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, and Prof. Mario T. Tabucanon, Provost.
On 4 Dec. representatives from MahirNet Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, Mr. M.A. Ansar, CEO (right), Dato Dr. Vincent Lowe (seated right), Director and Adviser; and Mr. R. Jayapal (seated left) Deputy President, came to AIT and conducted a MahirNet presentation for School Deans and Center Directors.
