Visiting AIT

On 17 December Prof. Yansun Wu (below, right), Director of International Affairs, Chongqing University, PRC, visited AIT to discuss institutional collaboration with AIT. Chongqing University, a key national research university in PRC, is directly under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education. It has 40,000 students and 6,000 staff in 37 Doctorate Programs, 83 Master Programs and 52 Undergraduate Programs.

Mr. Julian H. Payne, (left), Canadian Executive Director at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and a member of the ADB Board of Directors, is seen being welcomed by AIT President, Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, when he visited AIT on 18 December. He also met with AIT Deans and Mr. Surendra Shrestha, UNEP.EAP.AP Director.

A delegation from the National Development Agency of Japan (NASDA), led by Mr. Toshihiko Fujita, Director/External Relations Department, visited AIT on 19 December.

On 4 January 2002, Mr. Jerome Bon, Vice General Director of ESCP-EAP Paris visited AIT to discuss current and future potential collaboration in various areas.
