REMC Organizes a Study Tour on 27 March
The Regional Environmental Management Center (REMC), an outreach arm of the
Water Engineering and Management Program, School of Civil
Engineering is organizing a study tour program on Wednesday, 27 March.
The nine-day study tour — involving government officials of the Ministry of
Agriculture of Bhutan — will focus on small-scale surface irrigation systems,
sprinkler and drip irrigation systems and conservation activities in projects in
the Northern, Eastern and Central parts of Thailand.
The tour, managed by Dr. M. S. Babel and directed by Prof. A. Das Gupta,
will end on Thursday, 4 April.
