Thanking our security force for a job well done

In recognition of their outstanding service to the AIT Community over the past two years, Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, AIT President, presented members of Guardforce Security Service who are stationed at AIT with tokens of appreciation. The presentation was made at a simple ceremony held on 21 February at the west end of the campus.

Mr. Boontom Pluegnam, Security Supervisor of Guardforce Security Service, is seen receiving a token of appreciation from Prof. Armand.

Gratitude is also due to the long-serving members of AIT’s security guard team. The President and Provost, on 22 February expressed their appreciation to the Security Team headed by Mr. Jiraphong, Mr. Nimit, Mr. Kannong and to the guards for their performance in ensuring campus safety around the clock, and year long. Emphasis was put on enforcing traffic regulations in view of improving the safety of the community. A long range career path and a new package of benefits for AIT’s security guard team will be provided under the new Personnel Policy currently under preparation. Guards were also encouraged to take part in lifelong learning courses currently being offered to AIT employees, in order to promote personal and professional development which will also be open to members of Guardforce Security Service stationed on campus.
