Dean SERD succeeds Prof. Worsak in Acting Capacity

Prof. Chongrak Polprasert (right), Dean SERD (School of Environment, Resources & Development) has recently been appointed as Acting Dean of the School of Civil Engineering (SCE) succeeding Prof. Worsak Kanok Nukulchai, former SCE Dean who has completed his deanship term on June 7, 2004.

In his message to the AIT community, Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, President expressed his sincere appreciation for the valuable services Professor Worsak has rendered to the Institute in his capacity as Dean of the School of Civil Engineering, spanning over two terms of deanship for a period of six years. Professor Worsak will continue to serve as a Professor in the School in addition to his responsibility as Royal Thai Government (RTG) faculty representative.

Professor Chongrak Polprasert, concurrent to his appointment as Dean of the School of Environment, Resources & Development will serve the SCE Acting Dean capacity until either June 30, 2005 or until the academic restructuring is completed, at a time when the next administration will be in a position to appoint new Deans.
