President to represent AIT at audience with King
AIT President Said Irandoust will represent AIT at a Grand Audience to officials of the Realm and the general public on the auspicious occasion of the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne. Caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has invited the president to attend the Friday, 9 June event at the Ananta Samakhorn Throne Hall in Dusit Palace.
Their Majesties the King and Queen will preside over the event, at which will also be His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. The prime minister, president of the National Assembly and president of the Supreme Court will offer congratulatory notes to His Majesty, and the King will address the audience.
