Prof Haque appointed VC of BAU

Prof. Md Rafiqul Haque, who did his post doctorate from the Asian
Institute of Technology (AIT) in 1989-1990, has been appointed as the
new Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU),
Mymensingh. He will be the twenty second Vice Chancellor of BAU.

The appointment was made by the Chancellor of the University Hon. Mr.
Md Zillur Rahman, President of Bangladesh. Prof. Haque is currently a
senior professor of Irrigation and Water Management Department at BAU.
He has joined BAU as a lecturer in 1972.

Prof. Haque completed his graduation course in agriculture engineering
from BAU in 1970. He obtained his doctorate from The Royal Veterinary
and Agriculture University, Denmark in 1981.
