A “Planning Workshop for Developing a Framework for Cooperation between IGAC Activities in Asia”, will be organized at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Conference Center from 2-3 March 2015.
The workshop is sponsored by the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), Japan and it is being organized by the International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) and Prof. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh of Environmental Engineering and Management Field of Study, School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), AIT.
The workshop aims at providing a platform for atmospheric chemistry scientists in Asia to outline/define key issues in atmospheric chemistry in Asia and its linkages with the International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) project activities. More specifically, the workshop aims to set an implementation committee and draft a tentative framework toward the establishment of robust cooperation between IGAC activities in Asia.
