Malaysian Alumna contributes USD 30,000 for AIT Library Modernization

Thanking her for the contribution to her alma mater, Prof. Worsak
stated that Ms. Ailee has helped AIT previously also, when she advised
AIT on developing a good fundraising strategy. A Master’s graduate in
Structural Engineering and Construction (1981) from AIT, Ailee
currently serves as the Technical Advisor of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad,
the asset owner who operates the Light Rail Transport (LRT) and
Monorail Systems in Kuala Lumpur.

Ailee is a Chartered Professional Engineer registered with the Board
of Engineers in Malaysia and Australia. She has over three decades of
experience in Malaysia and overseas and has worked with numerous
international companies including TYLin, Parsons Brinkerhoff,
Bilfinger, Berger, and Bechtel. Among her flagship projects are Taiwan
Nuclear Power Plants, Taipei Mass Rapid Transport (MRT), Putra Light
Rail Transport (LRT2), Colombo LRT feasibility study, Hyderabad MRT,
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) Ipoh-Rawang and Ipoh-Padang Besar
Electrified Double Track, KTMB Batu Gajah Depot, LRT Kelana Jaya and
Ampang Line Extension and Klang Valley MRT projects.
