About the Speaker
Mr. Ujjal Pal is a campaigner who is cycling across various countries to promot plantation. Enroute he addresses schools, Colleges, Universities, NGOs, sports clubs, cultural organisations and addresses group meetings.
His campaign has covered:
§ In 1st phase – Traveled 22,500 km by cycle through 23 States, 4 Union Territories of India and neighboring country Bangladesh in 2 years and 2 months (December 2011–February 2014). Presentation in about 500 Schools, 100 Colleges, 30 Universities and in different Cultural and Sport Clubs to promote plantation
§ In 2nd phase – Traveled around 3,000 km by cycle in 6 Countries of Balkan Europe – Turkey, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia with the same motto – to promote plantation (May 2015–July 2015)
Now, Mr. Pal is travelling to Southeast Asian Countries (March 2016–August 2016).
