Two AIT papers among Google Scholar’s “Classic Papers”

Google Scholar has designated two research papers authored by AIT experts as “Classic Papers.” Announced in June 2017, Google Scholar describes “Classic Papers” as a collection of highly-cited papers that have stood the test of time in their respective area of research.

A paper authored by Naresh Acharya, Pukar Mahat, N. Mithulananthan of
Energy Field of Study has been identified as a “Classic Paper” in the
field of Power Engineering. The paper, which was published in the
Journal Electric Power and Energy Systems has been downloaded 707 times
so far.

The second paper, “The impact of total quality management on
innovation: Findings from a developing country,” which is coauthored by
Dinh Thai Hoang and Barbara Igel of AIT’s School of Management, and
Tritos Laosirihongthong of Thammasat University, has been classified as
a classic paper in the field of “Quality and Reliability.” Published in
International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, the
article has been downloaded 258 times.

Classic Papers is a new initiative of Google Scholar, and the first
iteration consists of articles that were published in 2006, and it is
based on Google’s index as of May 2017.
