Dr. Matthew Dailey
Dr. Matthew N. Dailey has been promoted to the rank of Professor. Prior to his elevation, Dr. Dailey, who is also Head, Department of Information and Communication Technologies at AIT’s School of Engineering and Technology (SET) was serving as Associate Professor in AIT.
His promotion was approved at the meeting of the AIT Board of Trustees held on 30 August 2018.
Dr. Dailey joined AITas an Assistant Professor in April 2006, and he was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in March 2012.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) (Magna cum Laude) and Master of Science (M.S.) , in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, U.S.A. in 1992 and 1995 respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego, U.S.A. in 2002.
Dr. Dailey’s research encompasses the areas of machine vision and learning, robotics, software engineering, and open-source software development.
