Dr. Aphichat Sramoon (SE’96), AIT Alumnus, and Chief Executive Officer, TEAM Consulting Engineering & Management PCL signed an agreement with AIT President Dr. Eden Woon on 14 July 2020 to donate 1,000,000 Thai Baht towards the renovation of Student Village 1 (Building #5 & #10). In recognition of this generosity, the two buildings are now named after AIT Alumni at TEAM Group.
Mr. Chawalit Chantararat (WRE’81), AIT Alumnus, and Chairman of Executive Committee, TEAM Consulting Engineering & Management PCL., and Dr. Apichart stated that it is with much delight that they are supporting AIT. They informed, that at present there are 62 AIT alumni working at TEAM. These alumni are successful because of the degree they received at AIT, which enabled them to build up their profession.
Dr. Woon expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to AIT alumni at the TEAM Group led by Mr. Chawalit for the donation as well as their support to AIT. The success of TEAM and the success of AIT are tied together and the Institute greatly values this relationship.
Also attending the signing ceremony from TEAM were: Dr. Supattana Wichakul, Executive Director – Related Business Unit, (WEM’07); Dr. Thiti Vacharasintopchai (STE’00 & ‘07), SVP-Technology, Innovation and Knowledge Management; Dr. Saratchai Ongprasert, Executive Director – Related Business Unit and Mr. Natee Yanpirat (WRE’ 85), Executive Director – Water Resources Business Unit.
