H.E. Mrs. C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Thailand and AIT Board of Trustee, paid a courtesy visit to the Asian Institute of Technology on 15 February 2022. Her Excellency met with Dr. Tongchat Hongladaromp, Chairman Board of Trustees and President Dr. Eden Woon to discuss the program of cooperation that AIT is trying to establish with the Ministries and Universities in Sri Lanka with the support of the Ambassador in her capacity as member of the AIT Board of Trustees.
Dr. Eden thanked Her Excellency Ambassador for her commitment to further strengthen the long-standing partnership over several decades between AIT and the Government of Sri Lanka.
Ms. Saritha Ranatunga, First Secretary and Head of Chancery, Sri Lanka Embassy in Thailand accompany Ambassador Colonne on her visit.
