Bike + Love = 2nd Breath

The aim of the event is to raise funds for the provision of 2nd breath assembly spacers to those in need. Two activities planned for the event are:Thai Kids Spacer Assembling at the Auditorium, AIT Conference Center (100 volunteers needed)Cycling around AIT campus – total distance of 10 km, 2 rounds of the campus (Participants are limited to 400)Details about the breath spacer can available at this link

Lecture on Social networks and networking as a part of academic professionalism

Abstract:Modern work life calls for competencies that enable people to be creative, innovative and effective. Studies looking at contemporary enterprises and organizations, such as business organizations and schools, have showed that many of the qualifications that graduate students would need are being associated with communication competencies, and with social networks.

About Prof.  Bogárdi:Prof. Bogárdi is Professor at the University of Bonn, Germany. He is a Senior Fellow of the Center for Development Research, and had served as a faculty member at AIT in the 1980s. He served for 14 years in the UN system, first at the UNESCO International Hydrological Programme, finishing his UN service as Director of the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security; and then as Vice Rector in Europe.
