Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, is a distinguished figure in the field of Structural Engineering and Construction. He earned his B. Eng. from Chulalongkorn University in 1971, followed by an M. Eng. from the Asian Institute of Technology in 1973. His academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and Structural Mechanics. Prof. Worsak has an extensive teaching career, serving as a Professor of Structural Engineering and Construction at the Asian Institute of Technology since June 1989. He was part of the pioneer team involved in the early-stage development of Finite Element Methods in 1974. In addition to his academic contributions, he assumed the role of Interim AIT President, officially appointed by the AIT Board of Trustees in 2013.
